Escalation of Care in Cardiogenic Shock Online Training Course
Welcome to the Escalation of Care in Cardiogenic Shock Online Training Course. This course has one lesson and a quiz. Additional optional resource materials are also provided. This course offers information on understanding the escalation of care in cardiogenic shock and explains how to identify the appropriate population for Impella heart pump support for protected PCI and cardiogenic shock. It covers the following topics:
- Goals of hemodynamic support
- Role of pulmonary artery catheters
- Signs of progressive shock
- Devices to consider for escalation
- Escalation algorithms
Upon completion of the curriculum, you will have access to your certificate, detailing the credits earned for curriculum completion (0.75 for ASRT and 0.75 for AACN).
Note: You have three attempts to pass the quiz. If you do not pass within the first three attempts, the course progress will be reset, and you will then have the opportunity to attempt the quiz again. If you attended this webinar in person, you will not be eligible for CEUs for this online curriculum.
